Evelyn Mae Ruckdeschel
ACV HS Valedictorian
The Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School held its graduation ceremony for the class of 2022 on Sunday, May 29, 2022 in the high school gymnasium. The graduation class had 43 seniors.
This year’s valedictorian is Evelyn Mae Ruckdeschel. She is the daughter of Michael and Amanda Ruckdeschell of Emlenton.
Some of her high school achievements/activities include membership of the Academic Competition Team, Art club, the prom committee, and she helped design the senior T-shirt.
On awards day last Wednesday, she was awarded third place for Academic Competition, St. John’s Trust Fund Scholarship, she received the Teresa and Richard Helmintoller Scholarship, ACV Art Competition, ACRVR Blueprint Banner Design.
Evelyn plans on attending Penn State Behrend to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering.
Meah M. Schiberl-Ielase
ACV Class of 2022 Salutatorian
The ACV Class Salutatorian is Meah M. Schiberl-Ielase, and she is the daughter of Kevin Ielase and Holly Schiberl of Emlenton.
Schiberl-Ielase was a member of the volleyball and softball teams, she was on Student Council, and a member of the National Honor Society, and serves as the vice-president of the Class of 2022.
At the seniors awards day she was awarded the St. John’s Trust Fund Scholarship, Clarion University Counselor Leadership Scholarship, KSAC All-Conference 1st Team Valleyball, KSAC All-Conference 3rd Team District Valleyball.
Meah plans on attending Pennwest University – Clarion to pursue a degree in nursing.
The commencement guest speaker was Brett Snyder, a 1991 graduate of A-C Valley High School, and a graduate of Purdue University with a BS in Civil engineering.
