Butler VA To Host Annual VA 2K Walk & Roll

The Butler VA Health Care System will host the 16th Annual VA 2K Walk & Roll at VA locations across Armstrong, Butler, Lawrence and Mercer counties. The event promotes active living while supporting homeless Veterans through voluntary donations of nonperishable food, clothing and personal care items. For a list of needed items, contact the Center for Development and Civic Engagement at 724-477-5010.

Eligible Veterans who are not currently enrolled in VA health care are invited to begin the enrollment process during the event. Those interested should bring a copy of their DD214. Additional eligibility information is available at www.va.gov/health-care/eligibility/ or by calling Butler VA’s enrollment team at 800-362-8262.The VA 2K Walk & Roll is part of a nationwide initiative presented by VA’s Employee Whole Health program, encouraging Veterans and staff to adopt healthier lifestyles and reduce preventable injuries and illnesses.
