Winners selected at the 6th Annual Celebration of Talent Competition, presented by the Barrow-Civic Theatre and Franklin Rotary Club. The competition was held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at the Barrow-Civic Theatre in Franklin, PA. The winner of the competition was the Luke Pentz of Emlenton. Luke played the drum. His first sone was “Whispers in the Dar” by Skillet and his 2nd song was “Everlong” by Foo Fighters.
The winners of this year’s competition were:
1st Place: Luke Pentz (drums), Emlenton
2nd Place: Alexander Karg (singing), Pittsburgh
3rd Place: Will Ion (guitar/singing), Cooperstown
4th Place: Madison Wakefield (singing), Titusville
5th Place: Bellina Devine (tap dancing), Sandy Lake
The first-place winner received $500 cash, sponsored by Eddie St. Clair - West Park Rehab. The second place prize of $300 cash was sponsored by Michael Dill - State Farm. Third, fourth, and fifth place each received a $100 Franklin Retail Association gift card, sponsored by Jerry Gressley & the Franklin Retail Association.
Celebration of Talent is a variety talent competition where winners are determined by audience vote! Talent categories include vocal, instrumental, dance/movement, magician, or other. Individual and group acts of all ages are welcome!
