Dave “Hodaka” Confer, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at his residence.
He was the son of the late Delbert and Juanita (Emery) Confer of Emlenton.
Dave was a 1972 graduate of A-C Valley High School. He worked for many years for Baker Auto Parts in Emlenton. Dave also worked at Hovis Auto, Dollar General, and The Progress News in Emlenton as a delivery driver.
Dave loved fishing, watching the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins and spending time with his Otto’s Family and friends in Emlenton.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Delbert.
Dave is survived by a sister Regina Delaverne (Jim) of Erie as well as nieces and nephews.
A memorial service remembrance was held at Otto’s Tavern on Thursday, November 2, 2023. All in attendance rooted for the Steelers in honor of Dave.
