Perry Township Historical Society is sponsoring its second annual photo contest with the theme “The Abandoned.” Abandoned buildings, machinery, etc. must be located in Perry Township, but participants need not live in the township.
Deadline is August 26th. Blue ribbons will be given to three entrants—two by a judge and one by popular vote of the public on September 9th during Perry Township Community Days. Winners will be announced at 6:00 on the 9th at the park in West Freedom.
Entries can be either black and white or color, printed size must be 4 x 6, and mailed to PTHS, PO Box 83, Parker 16049. In addition, the entrant’s name and phone number must be written on the back of the photo, including the location in which the photo was taken. No electronic entries will be accepted.
