After a sold-out show in October of 2022, TAKE3 Trio returns
to Lincoln Hall on November 10th.
Returning by popular demand after multiple standing ovations from their Lincoln Hall audience – the genre-smashing, virtuosic-crossover trio with a flair for the wild and unexpected – TAKE3 Trio – brings world-class artistry, blazing virtuosity, and tender sensitivity to Lincoln Hall on Sunday, November 10 at 2 PM. They are among the artists most requested for a return engagement on ARCA’s series and bring new exciting repertoire including John Williams’ Greatest Hits from iconic Hollywood movies, Billy Joel, Elvis, Willie Nelson, the Beach Boys, and for the younger set – a Beyonce Mashup!
In response to their SOLD-OUT Lincoln Hall concert in October of 2022, one listener wrote:
“Superlatives seem inadequate to describe TAKE3 trio’s performance.” Words used by the standing-ovation audience to describe the experience were ‘Magnificent – Amazing artists – What showmanship – Awesome – You HAVE to have them back…’ TAKE3 had us in the palm of their hands from Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” that brought tears to the eyes of many in the audience. A night to be remembered!”
Combining the refinement of their rigorous classical music backgrounds infused with rock-star charisma – these cross-over classically trained musicians led by the fabulous violinist Lindsay Deutsch will electrify and entertain with their arrangements of ”Where ROCK meets BACH.”
ARCA is grateful for the very generous sponsorship of TAKE3 Trio’s concert by the founder of the Red Brick Gallery, RBG Cooperative Artist, and devoted ARCA supporters, Donna and Larry Edmonds. Tickets are Adults $25, ARCA Members $20, Students $5. Buy online at alleghenyriverstone.org or call 724-659-3153 to reserve and pay with cash or check at the door.
Plan to stay after the concert to Meet the Artists at a Wine & Cheese Reception at the Red Brick Gallery from 4 to 6 PM for the opening of the spectacular exhibit of THE WEAVERS from the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts and Media. No admission for the exhibit. The RBG is directly adjacent and a short walk from Lincoln Hall. Born out of the practice rooms of the top conservatories, TAKE3 lives at the intersection of music where pop, rock, and classical fusion collide. TAKE3 has expanded its repertoire from Bach and Beethoven to Leonard Cohen, Bieber, Elvis, and The Beach Boys.
This dynamic and charismatic threesome leaves their indelible mark on captivated crowds around the country performing their top pop hits, Oldies, Americana, and their signature classical mashups – and everything in between including classical favorites.
From “Unchained Melody”, “Amazing Grace”, “What a Wonderful World”, Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” and Willie Nelson’s “On the Road Again” to Game of Thrones, Pirates of the Caribbean, Beethoven, West Side Story, and Orange Blossom Special, TAKE3 conveys an empowering message of joy and connection through music in their high-energy performances.
Known for their infectious and down-to-earth personalities on stage, TAKE3 makes it their mission to impart their love, passion, and joy in music-making to all who hear them – from children to adults, using their artistic ability as a conduit for musical storytelling.
In their earlier Foxburg appearance, one day after their sold-out performance in Lincoln Hall, TAKE3 brought their energetic and virtuosic “Where ROCK meets BACH” to inspire the students from K to 12 in the Allegheny-Clarion Valley Schools in a day of elementary classroom workshops and two assemblies in the high school auditorium.
No strangers to the stage as individuals, they have made an impact on the music scene as soloists, touring the world with Yanni, recording tracks for film and television, and as soloists in front of Symphony Orchestras across the country. The original music of TAKE3 can be heard throughout Netflix’s popular series “The Witcher” and on the Sony Witcher soundtrack.
The busy and widely-traveled group on the touring circuit, TAKE3 is visiting Performing Arts Centers and performing with orchestras in most of the 50 states this season. TAKE3’s interactive lighting shows, comedic stories of their journey from scales in conservatory practice rooms to pop music in packed stadiums, come together in unforgettable experiences that have fired up concert-goers all over the nation.
