Denise Sue O'Connor Texter, 66, of Parker, Pa, passed away on Sunday, November 30, at Grove City Hospital after a period of declining health.
Born in Franklin, Pa, on March 2, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Harley Randall and Fulvey Mae Switzer O'Connor.
She enjoyed working with yarn, crocheting, cross-stitching, plastic canvas, and diamond paintings. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She was married to Eugene Leroy Texter, who preceded her in death on February 27, 2011.
She is survived by one daughter: Sueann Texter of Grove City, Pa. Three Sons: Randy (Jessica) Texter of Parker, Pa, Chris (Vonetta) Texter of Anchorage, AL, and Jason (Megan) Texter of Mercer.Her Grandchildren: Omariana, Gabriel, Chloe, Samuel, Tegan, Elijah, Roman, Caleub, Kash, Carmello, and Kaiden. Two stepchildren, several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A brother, David Hartzell of Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers Thomas and Eric O'Connor.
Visitation will be held at the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home in Eau Claire (201 S. Washington St.) on Thursday, December 4, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. The funeral will be held the following day, on Friday, December 5, at 11 am. The interment will follow in the Eau Claire Cemetery.
