Donald Bartley, 73, passed away early on Wednesday morning October 25, 2023, at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford, after battling cancer.
He was born on May 11, 1950, in West Monterey, Parker, Pa. He was the son of the late Arthur Sr. and Mamie Clark Bartley.
Don graduated from The Allegheny Clarion Valley High School. He was primarily self-employed as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, but he also worked for Clark Enterprises and Sunbeam. In his younger days, he was an enthusiastic hunter and enjoyed various outdoor activities like biking and walking. Don adored his puppies, Izzy, Gabby, and Jake, and his kitty kitty, Gracie.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marsha Gardner Bartley, and his two sisters: Kate (Terry) Kinney of Parker, and Sarah (Rod) Harper of Foxburg, along with one brother, Thomas (Shelly) Bartley of Parker. He also leaves behind numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his siblings: Ellen, Ed, Jerry, David, Jim, Larry, and Carolyn.
