Donald E. McCord, 87, of Parker, Pa., passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.
Born in Franklin, Pa., on September 1, 1939, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Hazel Altman McCord.
He graduated from the former Parker High School in 1957. He worked as a recovery operator for the former Witco Chemical Company and retired after 37 years.
Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, being on the river, and just being outdoors. He loved riding his motorcycle, making several trips to Sturgis, and even taking a month-long trip to the four corners of the U.S. on his bike.
He is survived by his daughter, Lori (Dan) Wolfe of Parker. A Son, James (Vicky) McCord of Parker; two grandchildren: Danny (April) Wolfe and Sara (Andy) Trummer; Great-grandchildren: Katelyn, Holten, Logan, and Rylee; two Brothers: Alan McCord of Bruin, and Larry (Jennifer) McCord of Bulger, Pa.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta “Bobbie” Wolfgang. A Granddaughter, Ashley McCord, and a Sister-in-law, Bonnie McCord.
