Donald L. Anderson, Sr., 87, of Hilliards, Pa, passed away at his residence on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
Born on April 27, 1938, he was the son of the late John M. and Olive M. Crissman Anderson. He retired from Hoffman Auto Parts in Butler as a Foreman after 32 years of employment.
He enjoyed being outside doing things like farming, hunting, and occasionally fishing. Plus, he enjoyed playing lottery scratchers. He would frequently visit Penn Gold ice cream in Harrisville and eat chili and french fries at the Emlenton Plaza.
He is survived by his daughter, Rose Marie (Joe Barnhart) Hilliard. His son Donald L. (Tammy) Anderson Jr. Five grandchildren: John, Stevie, Alexander, Elizabeth (Josh Mellish), and Dawn (Tyler Steele). Four great-grandchildren: Carson, Maddie, Lindsay, and Declan. One brother, Bill (Rose) Anderson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his four siblings: Paul, Jean, Bob, and Jim. One Sister In-Law, Pat.
A family graveside service will be held at the Eau Claire Cemetery.
