Donald William Strauser

Donald William Strauser, aged 92, passed away on May 4, 2025, in Rimersburg, PA. Born on November 17,1932, Don was known for his joking nature, quick wit, and deep love for his family.

Donald dedicated many years to his career as a truck driver.

In his retirement, he could often be found in his shed tinkering with various projects. He had a particular knack for restoring old lawn tractors and embracing technology, from family videos to Facebook, which kept him connected with his family and friends.

He is survived by five sons, Donald W Strauser (Linda), Jeffrey Kriebel (Karla), Douglas Kriebel (Deb), Patrick Kriebel (Vicki), Donald F Strauser; three daughters, Angela Ragley (Sam), Rose Strauser,  Pennie Stewart; grandchildren. Kaylin (Sam), Andrew, Heather, Cody, Perry, Kayla (Greg),Kasey, Laura, Brooke (Aaron),Brett, Kathy (Drew),Georgie, Buffy, Sam, Desiree (Dallas),Paige (James), Donte, Karleigh, Corbin, Jamie, Shawn, Ashly, Clinton, Dennise (Travis), Amber (Anthony),and numerous great-grandchildren. Donald also leaves behind three brothers. Ronald Strauser, Fred Strauser (Janie),Russ Strauser; a sister Joy Himes; and sisters-in-laws Bernice Strauser and Alice Strauser.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Josephine (Plyler) Strauser, William F Strauser and Margaret R (Lerch) Strauser; and his wife Beverly J (Guntrum) Strauser; a son George Strauser (Marie); grandchildren Nicole, Bryton and Kurtus; a great-grandson Drake; and brothers Bob Strauser and Richard Strauser.

Don’s life was marked by his unwavering commitment to his family, his passion for his hobbies and his enduring sense of humor, he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
