On Friday, July 31st the East Brady Area Development Corporation (EBADC) conducted a bicycle safety and maintenance presentation at the Riverfront Park in East Brady. It was a beautiful evening with a nice backdrop of the Allegheny River, boaters and the mountainside. Presenters were Officer Steve Mazik from the Southern Clarion County Regional Police Department, Joel Warren, cyclist and president of Armstrong Trails, Toni Henry, cyclist and president of the EBADC and John Pozza, cyclist and local trail enthusiast. Topics ranged from laws regarding E-Bikes, safety on the trails and on the roads and information on Armstrong Trails. A maintenance session that demonstrated the proper wear of a helmet, correct bicycle seat height, lubricating a chain and inflating a tire followed.
