Emlenton Knights of Columbus 2021 Activities


Emlenton’s Holy Name Council #4602 of the Knights of Columbus has had a busy and productive year in 2021. The men amassed countless hours of unselfish charity (the Order’s hallmark virtue) back into our area communities and spent $4,265 to help make life a little better. The following activities are as follows:

HELPING HAND (6 donations totaling $600)

$100 cash donations given to cover traveling costs for families with loved ones in far away hospitals or rehab centers.

ABC Life Pregnancy Center, Franklin, PA ($1,765)

Stations of the Cross Catholic Radio – 88.3 FM, Oil City, PA ($100)

Mechling-Shakley Veterans Center, Cowansville, PA ($100)

Boys and Girls Club, Emlenton, PA ($100)

Haiti Hurricane Relief Program ($750)

Coats For Kids program ($250 each to A C Valley, Keystone and Karns City School Districts)

New Church Sign – St. Michael Parish, Emlenton, PA ($100)

Numerous rides for the elderly to doctor visits.

Council #4602 wishes to express our gratitude to those who supported are two large fund raisers (Home Improvement Gift Card Raffle and Golf Scramble at Hi Level Golf Course). And remember, “Where there is a Need, there’s a Knight.”
