Falconer, Kurt Regester, above, gave the audience a treat by displaying his hunting bird, Seneca, a Red-tailed Hawk, during his program at the Clarion Free Library, Sept. 13, on Falconry. Falconry is the ancient art of hunting wild game with a raptor. The program was hosted by Seneca Rocks Audubon.
Seneca Rocks Audubon Society is a local chapter of the National Audubon Society serving Clarion, Forest, Jefferson & Venango Counties in northwest PA.
The next program is October 11th with Tessa Rhinehart on Eavesdropping on Birds and will be held at the Clarion Free Library at 6:30 P.M. Monthly programs have been scheduled through December and then in March through June 2024. Each are held at the Clarion Free Library, on Main Street in Clarion, at 6:30 P.M.
