Forty-Three Year Old Track Record Broken

Pictured above is the 4x100 relay team of the Union/A-C Valley Track team. Left to right is Sophomore - Nick Lelase; Junior - Logan Skibinski; Junior- Aidan Fox and Junior - Michael Yerkey. The new record holders clocked in at a time of 44.4 seconds, eclipsing the old mark of 44.8 set in 1982 by Jerry Day, Dan Winnie, Scott Peairs and Doug Chambers. Logan Skibinski also broke his previous record in the 100 with an impressive time of 10.7 seconds. All are underclassmen and it will be fun to watch them progress over the next year.
