Foxburg Celebrates Light-Up Night

Foxburg was aglow Saturday, November 30th with Christmas Spirit as the riverside village kicked off their Annual Light Up Night! A Hallmark storybook celebration as Main Street was adorned with a vibrant crowd to welcome in the holiday season!

A-C Valley school choir, Kathy Soroka - Allegheny RiverStone Center for the Arts (ARCA), and The Sword Family delighted the crowd with Christmas songs and caroles. Santa & Mrs. Claus arrived to greet children and adults alike and lead in the countdown to the giant tree lighting. Which, attendees were confident that it could be seen from space!

Attendees then gathered in the dining room of Foxburg Pizza to visit Santa where every child received a gift. Others kept warm by the fire pits nibbling on cookies and s’mores, fetching a warm drink at The Crow’s Cupboard booth or sipping wine and shopping with artisans and crafters at Foxburg Wine Cellars.

The Allegheny Grille hosted a delicious dinner in their beautiful Timber Frame while Brandon Rae Band rocked the house. A wonderful and magical time had by all!

Special thanks to Foxburg Chamber of Commerce, RiverStone Estate, Saji & Shannon Daniel, Mayor Stephen Buzard, Jerry & Lynn Marron, Dick & Deb Leavy, AC Valley Choir, Kathy Soroka, The Sword Family. Our artisans and crafters, H L Wirtner The Fishing Artist, The C.O. Candle Company, My Husbands Tab Trucker Hat Bar, UHS-ACV Football Fund-raising, Moxie Promo, and The Crow’s Cupboard. And, everyone who worked diligently for weeks and those who volunteered their time to make this event happen. We in Foxburg wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season!
