Gary Lynn Horner, 64, of Parker, PA, passed away suddenly of natural causes on October 9, 2021.
He was born in Butler, Pa., on April 2, 1957, he was the son of the late Joseph "Joe" E. and Arvella "Pose" Kriebel Horner.
Gary was a graduate of A.C. Valley High School and began a 30+ year career at Indespec where he retired. An avid outdoorsman who enjoyed turkey and deer hunting. He often traveled the country to various Turkey Federation Conventions. Gary was a gracious and generous person who took the time to write birthday and holiday cards to all of his family for almost every occasion. Gary was a drummer at heart and enjoyed talking drums with his fellow drummers and reading the “Modern Drummer” magazine. He was very charitable to local organizations and he always enjoyed going out to eat for dinner. He was a member of the Parker Presbyterian Church in Parker.
He is survived by his Sister: Lisa (Gary) Hunker of North Apollo, and his Brother: Brad (Janice Horner) of Parker. His nieces: Kristen Smith, Taylor Logue, Shayla Schafhauser, and Lexi Godo. His nephew: Brian Horner.
Per Gary and the family's wishes, a private memorial service will be held.
