Gladys I. Gordon

Gladys I. Gordon, 84, of Bruin, PA, passed away Monday, April 27, 2026, at her home.

She was born July 5, 1941, in Kepples Corners, PA., the daughter of Loyal and Alice (Swope) Bryan.

Gladys lived in the area all of her life and for many years worked as a waitress at Widenhoff Restaurant. She was a member of Martinsburg Presbyterian Church in Bruin and belonged to the Bruin VFD Auxiliary. Gladys was devoted to caring for her family, and her loving spirit will be greatly missed.

Her memory will be cherished by her sons, Kenneth Gordon and wife, Sheila, of Rensselaer Falls, NY, Brian Gordon and wife, Pam, of Parker, Steve Gordon, of Parker, and Mark Gordon, and wife Robin of West Sunbury; daughter, Carol Hawk of Parker; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Linda, Morris, of Arizona.

Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Robert Gordon, whom she married April 30, 1965, and who died March 9, 2006; a grandson, Cody Hawk; grand-daughter Bonnie Kelly; and a sister, Hazel Weitzel.

At Gladys’ request, services will be private.

Burial will be in Concord Cemetery, Parker, PA.
