Kendrick Kinney, of Parker, took first place at the PSCF - 2025 PA State Action Chess Championship – West, again. This time it was for the entire scholastic section K-12, which was for a ranking of 900 and under. It took place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the William Pitt Union, University of Pittsburgh. His ranking was 720 before the event, but shot up to 872 after. Anything over 900 goes into the open championship flight.
