Kittanning Firemen’s Band to Participate in the America 250 National Independence Day Parade

Over the years, the Kittanning Firemen’s Band has won many awards and received many accolades. In their 77-year history, this may be the greatest honor to date. The band has been selected to represent the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at the America 250 Parade in Washington DC.

This parade, and the events around DC in which they will participate in, is the pinnacle of our Nation’s 250th Birthday celebration. The Kittanning Firemen’s Band is honored to have been selected and looks forward to proudly representing our state and community in our nation’s capital.

The parade is on July 4, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. in Washington, DC.
