Knox Lions Selects Isabella Duffee as Student of the Month

The Knox Lions Student of the Month for February is Isabella Duffee.

Isabella is a senior at Keystone high school

While at Keystone Isabella was a member of both the volleyball and softball teams.

Isabella has been a member of the National Honor Society for the past two years and is also the secretary and treasurer of the Allied Health Class at the Clarion County Career Center in Shippenville.

Isabella enjoys helping out in her community with various fund-raisers. Isabella participated in an ice cream scooping booth at the Venango County Fair and with STEM Night and Trivia Night most recently for the National Honor Society.

Through the Allied Health Class, Isabella volunteers her time spending a night at the Clarview Rehabilitation Nursing home in Sligo painting with the residents. In April, Isabella plans on making Easter eggs and cookies with the residents. Isabella has also volunteered her time serving spaghetti dinners with her volleyball team.

Isabella works at Wolf’s Camping Resort in the summer and enjoys spending her time at the Clarion County YMCA and with her friends and family.

After graduation she plans on attending ­­Slippery Rock University to pursue her Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration and Management with a concentration in Medical Device Sales. She also plans on getting her Certified Nurses Aid License in the summer.
