Emma Gruber and Bill Black
Emma Gruber, a Keystone High School senior, was selected by the Knox Lions Club for the March Student of the Month.
Emma is the daughter of Deanna and Todd Gruber. She has been active in softball, soccer (11thgrd) Cricket 7 Crocheting club, Basketball, a member of the National Honor Society, treasurer of the KYEA, volleyball, vice-president of the 2024 class, band & choir member, ski club and participated in musicals.
Emma plans to attend PennWest Clarion to major in medical imaging and is considering a duel major of sports management. She eventually wants to become a radiation therapist or X-Ray tech.
Her community involvement includes the Grace E.C. Church youth group; Grace E.C. Church Missions With the National Honor Society she helped at a local fair scooping ice cream, local car washes and trivia night.
She also helped the KYEA at the Elementary Field Day, Elementary Valentine’s Day dance, and help the elementary gym teacher once a week.
