The Marion Township Supervisors will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 5:00 pm. for the purpose of bid opening and any other business that comes before the board.
Sealed bids will be received by Marion Township of Butler County at P.O. Box 141, 2275 West Sunbury Road, Boyers, PA 16020 until 5:00 PM on May 21, 2024, for the following: 16,525 S.Y. Single Asphalt Seal Coat, In Place; 1,322 S.Y. Single Asphalt Seal Coat, In Place, MC-70 Oil; Double Asphalt Seal Coat, In Place, “Special” Oil. Stone to be supplied by the Township.
Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $885.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Municipality.
For third class cities the bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable by the Municipality. For other municipal types it is the discretion of the municipality. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
