Leslie Jane Larimore, 58, of Fairview, passed away peacefully at home in the company of her loving family Sunday morning, October 19, 2025.
Leslie was born in Butler on January 11, 1967. She was the daughter of Samuel W. Brothers Jr. of Fairview and the late Barbara Ann Shanafelt Brothers.
She was a 1984 graduate of Karns City Area High School.
Leslie was long time member of the Petrolia Volunteer Fire Department, an EMT, and had served the department’s ambulance service as commander. She enjoyed cooking, the company of her family, baking cakes for her grandchildren, reading, and diamond painting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey W. Larimore, whom she married in Virginia on May 26, 1988. Mr. Larimore passed away on June 23, 2019.
Surviving are two daughters, Lynda Tahon and her husband, Benjamin, of Tarentum, and Stephanie L. Servis of Northeast; a sister, Valeria Booher of Fairview; a brother-in-law, Vernon Larimore of Florida. She was affectionately “Mimi” to her grandchildren, Josephine, Landon, Aidan, Dakota, Brady, Levi, Chloe, and Carly and two great grandchildren, Paislee and Iris. Also surviving are a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and her special niece and nephews, Alana, Lucas, and Devin and a great niece, Isabel; her long time best friend, Ginny Collins of Chicora.
In addition to her mother and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Toby Larimore.
A celebration of life will be held at the Petrolia Fire Department Social Hall from 4 – 7 p.m. Friday, October 24, 2025. The Petrolia Fire Department will accord department honors at 6:45 p.m. A closing prayer by Rev. Bev Roscoe, pastor of the Karns City United Methodist Church will follow at 7 p.m. Interment will be in Bear Creek Cemetery, Petrolia.
