Nancy (Hiles) Buzard
Nancy (Hiles) Buzard, 79, of Rimersburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at her home.
She was born on March 15, 1947, in Perry Township, and she was the daughter of Charles L. and Mary (Uenking) Hiles.
Nancy married John E. Buzard on November 26, 1966, and he survives.
She worked several different jobs throughout her life, the last one being a custodian at Union High School, and retiring from there after 15 years.
In her spare time, she enjoyed horseback riding, quilting, gardening, crocheting, cooking, volunteering at the senior center in Rimersburg, and spending time with family and friends.
Nancy fought a six-year battle with cancer. Now she is finally at peace.
She is survived by her husband, John Buzard of Rimersburg, one son, Charles Buzard and his wife Connie of Rimersburg, one grandson, Brock Yates and his wife Jessica of Bentleyville, four great-grandchildren, Brock Jr., Natalie, Camie, Travis, one sister, Helen Sue Vensel of Bruin, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Charles Hiles Jr., and a brother-in-law, Robert Vensel.
Nancy’s family will receive friends from 11 AM to 1 PM on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at the Varner Funeral Home of Rimersburg. A funeral service will follow beginning at 1:00 PM, with the Lay Pastor, Peggy Mortimer, and Pastor Pat Garing, officiating.
Inurnment will be in the Lawsonham Cemetery.
