Patty Diane Dehart, 76, of Perry Township, Parker, Pa., passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
Born on January 27, 1949, in Perry Township, Clarion County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Franklin Callender and Delores “Minnie” (Clawson) Callender
Patty was a 1966 graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District and a 1970 graduate of Edinboro State College for teaching.
She worked for over 30 years teaching at Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District.
Patty was married on June 6, 1970, at the Sigel United Methodist Church to the late Vernon Jerry Dehart, who preceded her in death on June 16, 2006.
She was a member of the Journey of Faith Church in West Freedom, where over the years she had been a Sunday school teacher, sang in the choir, and served on the official board. Patty was a long-time member of the West Freedom Cemetery Association board and a past board member of the Foxburg Library.
Surviving are her two sons: Jerry Jamison Dehart (Julie) of Parker, and Jacob Patrick “Jake” Dehart (Amber) of Parker, 6 grandchildren: Jessica Scott (Seth), Joseph, Jaclynn, Jake, Jace, and Ali Dehart, and 3 great grandchildren: Wyatt, Elaina, and Kolson, her siblings: Judy Morrison (Larry), Dan Callender (Tanny), Rita Barhnhart (Dave), and Chuck Pollum (Amy).
Visitation for Patty will be Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM at the Journey of Faith Church in West Freedom, and from 10:00-11:00 AM Monday, October 27, 2025, where a funeral service will follow in the Church at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Andy Gundlach officiating.
