Paul L. Sullivan, 91, of Hilliards, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Alum Rock, Clarion County, on May 18, 1934, he was the son of the late Robert and Bessie Brothers Sullivan.
Paul spent most of his career working in construction with several companies, but he retired after nearly 30 years at J.C. Lee Construction and Supply.
He was married to Dorothy Mae Early Sullivan, who passed away in 2020.
He loved being outside and was the type of person who couldn't just sit around. He was always working and there to help people. In his younger years, he enjoyed camping, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Paul is survived by his four sons, Ronald Sullivan of Boyers, Dennis (Suzann) Sullivan of Hilliards, Tim Sullivan of Hilliards, and Rick (Lynne) Sullivan of Hilliards. Five sisters, Dolly (Bill) Schreffler, Mary Bartley, Roberta Gates, Helen Linamen, and Linda (Homer) McHenry. Two brothers, Frank (Gloria) Sullivan and Robert Sullivan. Ten Grandchildren, Seventeen Great-Grandchildren, Six Great-Great-Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by four brothers, one sister, two daughters-in-law, and his granddaughter, Nicole Sullivan.
Friends will be received at the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home in Eau Claire (201 S. Washington) on Tuesday, June 17, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. The funeral will be on Wednesday, June 18, at the funeral home at 11 am. Interment will follow at the Eau Claire Cemetery.
