Father in Heaven, I thank you for the body I have. Thank you for giving me this vessel for my spirit.
I pray now for my friend who is suffering. This disease has weakened their body. Sleep is difficult and they struggle to find the energy to complete the things they need. Please bless them so that they will find rest and recovery.
Help them sleep fully and deeply. Bless them that they will be able to sleep enough that their body can begin to mend itself. Please give their mind peaceful thoughts so they may find mental and spiritual refuge.
I offer this prayer in Jesus’ name, Amen.
