Robert C. Trill, Jr.

ROBERT C. TRILL, Jr., 88,  recently of Butler, but lifelong resident of Parker, passed away Friday evening, December 12, 2025, at his residence following a period of declining health.

Born in Perry Twp., Clarion Co. on June 27, 1937, he was son of late Robert C., Sr. and  Emma Lucille “Celie” Horner Trill.

He was married to the former Nancy Ashbaugh who preceded in death on Nov. 11, 2023.

A 1955 graduate of the former Parker High School, Bob was a career lineman with Central Electric Co-Op of Parker from where he retired as Line Superintendent.

Bob was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church of Parker and also affiliated with Park Hill Church of God at West Freedom.

He was a member of F.&A.M. Lodge # 521 of Parker and also a member of I.O.O.F. Lodge # 278  located in Butler.  He was also member of the NRA.

Surviving are one daughter Crystale (James “Chip”) Leavy of Greenbriar, TN.; son Robert “Mike” and wife Cindy Trill of Butler; daughter-in-law Tracy Trill of Johnson City, NY; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sister Janet Trill Fox of Parker, and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to parents and wife, Bob was preceded in death by son Edward A. Trill on Oct. 16, 2024 and an infant grandchild David Leavy, and brother-in-law Jerry Fox.

Visitation will be from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 So. Wayne Ave., Parker, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 11:00 AM with Reverands Amy Callander and “Chuck" Cline officiating. He will then be laid to rest with his beloved wife at Parker Presbyterian Cemetery.

F.&A.M. Lodge # 521 will conduct Masonic Memorial Services at 6:00 PM Tuesday, Dec. 16th in funeral home.
