Sally A. (Barnhart) Fleeger

Sally A. (Barnhart) Fleeger, 83, of Butler, formerly of Karns City, went to be with the Lord early Wednesday morning, November 23, 2022, at the Chicora Medical Center.

Sally was born in Butler on July 29, 1939. She was the daughter of the late Clifton R. and Clarabelle Rider Campbell.

In her earlier years, she attended school in Karns City. Sally was a member of GraceWay Community Church in Butler. Sally was a homemaker and was well-known for her strong work ethic. She had been employed at various nursing homes and retired from The Orchard at Concordia in Butler.

Sally is survived by her husband, Harold Fleeger of Butler; two children, W. Allen Barnhart Jr. (Anna) of Bruin and Karen S. Hilliard (Rick) of Butler; five grandchildren, Shawn Barnhart of Butler, Chad Barnhart (Lura) of Prospect, Jon Erik Knoll (Amber) of Karns City, Marissa Barnhart (Earl) of New Kensington, Eric S. Hilliard of Butler; five great-grandchildren, Asiah, Alexcia, Addy, Luke, and Lilyana; her aunt, Inez Schmidt of Butler; her children’s father and former husband, William A. Barnhart of Bruin; her step-granddaughter, Kim Barger, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Kevin C. Barnhart, and a step-grandson, Keith McElravy.

Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home of Karns City, 128 Main St., Karns City, from 11 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 1. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. from the funeral home with the Rev. Dave West, pastor of GraceWay Community Church, Butler, officiating.
