Sally L. Michael

Sally L. Michael, 91, of Bruin, passed away on December 30, 2025, at Quality Life Services in Chicora, PA, after a prolonged illness.

She was born in Pittsburgh on January 2, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hilda Steyer Eiler.

Sally was employed at the former Parker glass plant before moving to the Knox glass plant, where she retired. She loved camping, playing cards, and playing bingo.

She is survived by four children. Sherry Snow of Butler, Rex (Lorie) Michael of Hilliards, Charles (Jeannie) Michael of Sligo, Brent (Lynette) of Chicora. Brothers: Robert of NY, and Clifford, formerly of Bruin. Sisters: Dorothy “Toots” Miller of Chicora, and Joan Phillips of Parker. Seven grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles, whom she married on May 11, 1955. Her son, John Michael. Sisters: Hilda Wolfe and Elizabeth Eiler. Brothers: John “Jack”, Raymond, Gerald “Jerry”, William “Bill”, Parker, and Donald. Her step-daughter, Marion and a great-grandchild

Friends will be received at Buzard Funeral Home in Eau Claire (201 S. Washington St.) on Saturday from 2-4 & 6-7 pm. The funeral will follow at 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Bear Creek Cemetery in Petrolia.
