Sally M. Barger
Sally M. Barger, 88, of Parker, passed away at her residence, surrounded by her family, early Friday morning, July 17, 2026, after an extended illness.
She was born on March 17, 1938, and was the daughter of the late George and Edna Conner Fair.
Sally was employed at Archway Cookies for many years and later at Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District as Head Cook. She and her late husband, Frank Barger, owned and operated school buses for the school district for many years. She was a former member of the Lady of Rebekah Lodge at West Freedom and of the Trinity Point Church of God in Clarion. Sally married the love of her life, Frank Barger, on July 21, 1956, in Parker. They spent 69 years together until his passing on July 29, 2025. They loved to travel, from Texas to the Bahamas and many other places, until their health prevented them from doing so.
Sally was an amazing grandmother, attending all of her grand and great-grandchildren's sporting events.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Henry of Parker, and Rhonda (Roger) McCall of Carlton, Pa. Four grandchildren, Hilary (Shawn) Latshaw, Luke (Kelsey) McCall, Kristen Yeager, Jessica Henry, and fiancé Ricky Wright. Two great-grandchildren, Teague Latshaw, and Issac Yeager. Brother, Steve Fair, and sister-in-law, Linda Fair.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Polm, and Gene Fair.
Friends will be received at Buzard Funeral Home in Parker on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 2-4 & 6- 8 pm. The Funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 11 am. The interment will follow at Callensburg Cemetery.
