Scenes from the Foxburg Fall Art, Wine & Food Festival

It was a beautiful sunny day in Foxburg as the Brandon Rae Band kicks off the Foxburg Fall Art, Wine & Food Festival on Sunday, October 9, 2022.

Seen roaming downtown Foxburg was this scarecrow.

This scarecrow can be on my basketball team anytime!

Quality vendors from one end of Main Street to the other. Some say it was the best Foxburg Festival yet.

Foxburg was loaded with a variety of art and craft vendors.

There were several raffles and Chinese Auctions items last week at the Foxburg Festival last Sunday, and there is still one more raffle to go. This “Whimsical” hand-made quilt (pictured below) was donated by Gerre Slaughenhaupt of Parker, and it will be raffled the week of Thanksgiving. Tickets are still on sale and available at the Foxburg Pizza. They sell for $2 each or 3 for $5.

Rory, Jeannette, and Dolores spent the day managing the Chinese Auction at the Foxburg Pizza. (Along with a few other helping hands.) There were a total of 179 auction prizes and gift certificates

Foxburg Tours was out all day providing short tours of the river valley.

The Progress News editor and chief, Dave Staab, spent the festival weekend at the Foxburg Pizza, entertaining customers, drumming to old-time hits and country songs.
