Susan Lynne Sheets, 83, of Clarion, PA, went to be with the Lord on August 6, 2026, at Orchard Manor in Grove City, PA.
Born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on May 18, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Orlando R. and Nellie K. Mahoney Sheets.
She was an LPN for over thirty years, working at various practices in New Jersey & Pennsylvania. Susan enjoyed crocheting, reading, and spending time with her family. She loved the Lord and found great comfort in her faith. She enjoyed passing out small Jesus figurines to people and saying, "Everyone needs a little Jesus in their life."
She will be greatly missed by her three daughters: Theresa (Chuck) Defibaugh of Parker; Michele (Mike) Anthony of Dubois; and Gail (Fred) Wingard of Emlenton. Two sons: Paul (Lori) Dick of Parker, and Michael Dick of Meadville. Her special nieces: Connie and Kathy Musselman, and Claudia Yingling. Fifteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren. As well as her cat, Bobbie Sue.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Bucholz; sisters Lorraine Peck and Judith Musselman; brothers Russell and David Sheets; and her companion, Jack Gilbert.
The family received friends on August 9, 2026, at the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, Inc., 201 S. Wayne Street, Parker, PA. A funeral service was held at the funeral home on Monday, August 10, 2026. The interment was in the West Freedom Cemetery.
