Thank You from the Hometown Hero Banner Committee

The A-C Valley Hometown Hero Banner committee would like to thank the volunteers who helped hang the Emlenton and Parker veterans banners: Jim Best, Carter Best, Bruce Campbell, Jeff Cress, Fred and Carla Hays, Trevor Hile along with the Emlenton Volunteer Firemen, Rick Heeter, Bill McClure, Brian Norquist, Artie Miller and Bill McCall.

Hometown Heros

This year the committee was able to replace 86 or update old weather damaged banners with new ones. We have over 100 veterans banners hanging throughout Emlenton Borough and 63 hanging in Parker. The banners will remain up until after Veterans Day. This project is a living tribute to show our pride and appreciation for those of our area who have served in the armed forces and to honor their memory of service.
