The Plaza Restaurant Supports the Emlenton VFD

If you were looking for a good time to meet family, friends, neighbors and acquaintances, then you would have had a good time at the annual spaghetti dinner fund-raiser at the Emlenton Plaza Restaurant.

The annual spaghetti dinner fund drive for the Emlenton VFD was held on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025, at the Emlenton Plaza Restaurant, at exit 42 off I-80.

One fire fighter supporter, Delilah Scott, came dressed for the occasion. She is pictured here with her grandmother, Donna Scott.

The staff at the Plaza Restaurant spent many hours preparing for the evening. The cooks, the food, the waitresses and all proceeds from the spaghetti dinner are donated by the owners of the restaurant. By 4:00 p.m. everything was set and ready to go. The firemen greeted you as you entered the restaurant, and were seated. A steady flow of patrons continued throughout the evening until 8:00 p.m. It seemed as though there was just enough parking and just enough seating for everyone throughout the evening.

You received a generous portion of spaghetti and meatballs, a salad and to top it all off, you had your choice of a delicious homemade cookies. (Baked in house)

The firemen thank all of you who attended the dinner and especially thank the owners of the Plaza Restaurant, their staff and crew for preparing and working so hard to provide a memorable spaghetti dinner to help us raise money to support our fire department.
