The A-C Valley team entered into the playoffs as the 2nd seed in the South division with an 8-3 record. With a win against 3rd seeded Knox in their first game of the playoffs, the team earned a trip to the semi-final game and possible championship game, both of which was being hosted in Cranberry on the same day.

The road ahead of them was not going to be easy with their semi-final game going up against the #1 seeded team in the North Division Tionesta. Tionesta had a regular season record of 11-1. A-C fell behind 4–0 in the first inning but rallied back to get the 7-5 victory against a pretty solid baseball team.

With that victory, that meant A-C had to go against #1 seeded in South Division New Bethlehem in the championship game. Both teams played a tough game, in the sun on a hot day, with both teams having to endure a two hour wait before the start of game. A-C was leading 9-4 going into the 6th inning and managed to score 2 runs in top of the inning with a hit by Raylan “Ray Ray” Buzard followed by an inside the park homerun by Landon “Hawk” Eiler. The team then got 3 quick fly-outs in bottom of 6th with James Tedeski catching the 3rd out with a flyball to left center to secure the championship. A solid win against a really good and well coached team.

A-C Valley baseball would like to thank Cranberry for their hospitality. The team and coaches would also like to dedicate the win to the memory of our good friend Pat Marron.
