8th Annual Celebration of Talent winners.

Hubert Lykins, a 14-year-old, who says he’s from the sticks of Emlenton, Pennsylvania, took 3rd place in this year’s Celebration of Talent. The event was held on Feb. 15, at the Barrow-Civic Theatre in Franklin, PA.
With nine finalist, Lykins took 3rd place, behind 1st place winner, Karissa Hoovler of Sandy Lake. She plays piano, percussion, organ, and guitar, and 2nd place winner Tim Craver of Franklin, a singer/songwriter. Sydney Miller of Shippenville came in 4th, plays the piano; and 5th place was won by Nadia Morrison of Franklin, and plays the piano and guitar.
Lykins says he has a knack for singing and playing the piano. “I perform out of praise for Almighty God. My gifts of singing and playing instruments are God-given gifts, and I will use them to my best ability.”
Congratulations to our local talented piano player and singer, Hubert Lykins, and to all the winners and participants in the 8th annual “Celebration of Talent” competition in Franklin.
