Carol Lynn Barger, 57, of Parker, PA, passed away January 17, 2026, at Pittsburgh’s Shadyside Hospital after a brief but painful battle with cancer.
She was a sister, mother, and grandmother as well as a friend to many.
She was born, November 26, 1968, in Ohio.
Carol loved the outdoors, and she loved to cook. She enjoyed spending time with any and all of her 11 grandchildren, and she would often cook spontaneously and abundantly at the drop of a hat at any hour. She was fond of saying, “If you leave hungry, it’s your own fault”.
She leaves behind two children, son James Barger, Jr. (Shelby Ghezzi) and her daughter Tonya Barger (Allen Claypoole), as well as one brother, Thomas L Singer (Arlene).
She was preceded in death by her siblings Timmy and Tammy, as well as her parents Carol Lee and Tim.
