Dedication of the Dorothy Flick Memorial Reading Nook

The Knox Civic Club and Knox Public Library invite the community to join them for the Dedication of the newest addition to the Knox Community Park (commonly referred to as Peanut Park), The Dorothy Flick Memorial Reading Nook. The addition has been made to honor the legacy of this much-loved former teacher, wife, mother, Knox Civic Club member, and life-long reading advocate.

There is no registration required, and all are welcome to come and share their own special memories of Mrs. Dorothy Flick. Light refreshments will be provided by the Civic Club and Miss Jolene of the Knox Public Library will read to the children in attendance. The event will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Knox Community (Peanut) Park on Cemetery Road in Knox, PA.
