Donna F. Barlett, 74, of Parker, passed away unexpectedly late Saturday morning, January 31, 2026, shortly after arrival in the emergency department at Clarion Hospital.
Donna was born in Franklin on November 22, 1951. She was the daughter of the late Blenton and Charlotte Shaffer Kagle
She was a graduate of Keystone High School in Knox. Donna was a long-time, well-known cook and waitress in the A-C Valley area for many years, having been employed at the Shippen Inn, The Parker House, and The Pines Inn. She enjoyed the company of friends, decorating, working outside her home, and feeding the birds.
She is survived by her companion of more than 30 years Willi L. Daab of Parker; her daughter, Melinda Swick and her husband, John, of Ellwood City; her grandsons, Aaron Stephens and Adam Hook of St. Petersburg and Ryan Hook of Knox; her granddaughters, Ashley Hogue and her husband, Stevan, of New Castle, and Cheyanne Swick and a great granddaughter, Giovanna Swick, both of Elwood City; four sisters, Deloris Beichner and her husband, Allen, of Pine City, Darlene McCleary, Diane Rex, and Darla Reese, all of Knox, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Dora and Ronald Hovis.
Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home Inc., 1204 Kerr Ave., Emlenton, from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2026. A funeral service will follow from the funeral home at 7 p.m.
