“Ed” Homer Lutz, 68, of Emlenton, Pa, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, after an extended illness at Clarion Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Sewickley, Pa, on April 20, 1957, he was the son of the late Eugen Vincent and Huldah Whitling Lutz.
Ed enjoyed riding motorcycles and working on cars. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his three children: Tonya (Chad) Beatty of New Wilmington; Jeremiah (Katie) Lutz of Emlenton; and Rusty Lutz of Ashtabula, Ohio. Grandchildren: Lyncoln, Hudsun, Jude, and Claire.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Darcell, who passed on November 29, 2011. His sister Barbara Whitling.His granddaughter, Dreama.
Friends were received at the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home in Eau Claire (201 S. Washington St.) on Friday, February 6, 2026. A celebration of Ed’s life followed the visitation at the funeral home.
