Garett L. Hedglin

Garett L. Hedglin, 73, of Church Street, Clintonville PA, went home to be with his Savior Jesus Christ on March 13, 2026.

He was born May 30, 1952 to the late Robert M. and Garnett L. (Croy) Hedglin. Gary was one of six children the couple had.

Gary graduated from Franklin High School, class of 1973.

Gary was married to Rebecca “Becky” Gladd on March 27, 1982. The couple would have celebrated 44 years of marriage at the end of this month.

Gary was employed with Easter Seals as a custodian located at Iron Mountain, Boyers, PA, until March 4, 2026. Gary was a 17-year member as a fire fighter with the Clintonville Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of Living Word Church in New Wilmington. He served on the Prayer/Altar Team. Gary enjoyed being on the water in his pontoon boat especially fishing. He loved the older gospel music including the Gaither Brothers.

Loved ones to cherish Gary’s memory is his wife Becky, his siblings Diana Wilson, Connie McFadden and husband Steve, Shirley Shellhammer and Richard Hedglin. Gary’s in laws Dianna Ward, Rodney Gladd and his wife Betty, Susan Hughes and husband Ken, Steven Gladd and wife Wanda and Kevin Gladd. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his 6 cats.

Gary was welcomed into heaven by his parents and his sister Cathy Colyer and his father and mother-in-law Clair and Liz Gladd.

A memorial service will be held April 11, 2026 at Living Word Church, 22 Victory Lane, New Wilmington PA at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Rob Cyphert officiating.

The family suggest memorial donations in Garys honor be sent to the Barnabas Ministries Romania Inc., Box 21, Emlenton PA 16373.

Interment took place at the Clintonville Methodist Cemetery.
