Gloria M. Risinger

Gloria M. Risinger, 82, of Hooker Rd., Karns City, went to be with the Lord early Saturday morning, May 10, 2025, at her home.

Gloria was born in Karns City on February 17, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary Jordan Fleeger.

She attended school in Karns City and was a long-time member of the Crisswell Bible Baptist Church. Gloria was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed flower gardening, canning, and the company of her family.

Gloria was married in Chicora to Norman E. Risinger on July 2, 1960. Mr. Risinger preceded her in death on January 17, 2019.

Surviving are two children, Beverly Risinger and her partner, Reynaldo Ramos and Thomas E. Risinger and his partner, Blair Miller, both of Karns City; three grandchildren, David Morrison and his wife, Melissa, of Emlenton, Joshua Morrison and his wife, Kelsey, of Karns City, and Katrina Mangini of Apollo; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harold Fleeger and Richard Fleeger and his wife, Shirley, all of Butler; two sisters, Blanche Downing of East Brady and Grace Watterson of Ford City, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, Gloria was preceded in death by a son, Gary Risinger, and two brothers, Sonny and DeWayne, a sister, Eleanora, and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home of Karns City, 128 Main Street, Karns City, from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday. A funeral service will be held from the funeral home Friday at 11 a.m. with the Pastor, Paul DeBacco, Gloria’s church pastor, officiating. The interment will be in Bear Creek Cemetery, Petrolia.
