Many of you became more than caregivers to Nick. You took the time to understand him, learn about his routines, and build a genuine connection with him. He grew fond of each of you, and we saw how much comfort he found in your presence. Each time a family member came to visit, it brought us peace to find Nick as comfortable and cared for as possible, often in good spirits. That reassurance came from the compassion and dedication you showed him every day. Knowing that he was surrounded by people who genuinely cared gave our family comfort when we needed it most.

Each of you had a meaningful impact on Nick’s life, even if he did not always express his feelings openly. From management to food services, from physical therapy to housekeeping, every person played a part in his care and in our family’s peace of mind. Please know that your kindness will never be forgotten, and that the DeRemigi family will always be grateful for the care and dignity you gave to Nick.
