INVITATION TO BID – BRUIN BOROUGH LOTS
The Borough of Bruin is accepting sealed bids for the purchase of the following properties located in the Borough of Bruin:
1. Butler County Tax Parcel 340-S2-28A-0000. Being the same premises conveyed to the Borough of Bruin by Deed dated September 23, 1965 and recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Butler County, Pennsylvania on October 11, 1965 in Deed Book 847, Page 491.
2. Butler County Tax Parcel 340-S3-5B-0000. Being the same premises conveyed to the Borough of Bruin by Deed dated September 23, 1965 and recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Butler County, Pennsylvania on October 11, 1965 in Deed Book 847, Page 491.
Sealed bids identified on the exterior of the envelope as “BRUIN BOROUGH PROPERTIES BID” must be mailed to the attention of the Borough of Bruin Secretary at 114 Water Street, PO Box G, Bruin, PA 16022. All bids must be received by mail at the close of business on April 30, 2024. Bidders may bid on one or all of the properties. If bidding on more than one property, each bid must be in a separate envelope. Borough Council will consider the bids at its regularly scheduled meeting on May 1, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. Council may reject any and all bids if, in their opinion, they are deemed to be less than the fair-market value of the properties. All bids will be accepted on the condition that payment of the balance of the purchase price in full shall be made within forty-five (45) days of the acceptance of bids by certified funds.
The Properties are being offered and sold “AS-IS.” The successful bidder must enter into a sales agreement substantially in the form supplied by the Borough. Upon request a copy of the form may be obtained from the Borough prior to submitting a bid. Deed preparation costs, transfer tax, and closing costs will be the responsibility of the successful bidder.
Bids will be awarded or rejected at the regularly scheduled meeting of Bruin Borough Council on May 1, 2024, at 7:30 p.m.
