Sherrie Jo Harris

Sherrie Jo Harris, 76 of Kennerdell, passed away September 21, 2026, at the Quality Life Services in Mercer.

Sherrie was born July 21, 1950, in Franklin and was the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth (Baker) Hawkins.

Sherrie graduated from Franklin High School and furthered her education at the Meadville School of Nursing. She earned her degree and became a Registered Nurse. Sherrie was married on October 12, 1971, to A. Logan Harris, he survives.

Sherrie was a retiree of Polk Center. She enjoyed home improvement projects, gardening, and spending time with family.

Loved ones to cherish Sherrie’s memory are her husband, Logan, her son Brian (Jen) Harris, daughter Heather (Matt) Mlecko, her brothers Charles Hawkins Jr, Steve (Val) Hawkins, and Bob (Cherly) Hawkins; her beloved grandchildren Brooke, Madeline, Logan, William, Olivia, and Sarah. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Sherrie was preceded in death by her parents.

A private family service took place. The Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home, Clintonville.
