Soil Conservation Workshop

Join the Clarion Conservation District, USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service (USDA-NRCS), Clarion County Penn State Extension Master Gardeners, and Quiet Creek Herb Farm for a workshop on the comparison between healthy and unhealthy soil, soil organic matter, how to test soil, the impacts of food waste on our climate, and how to compost.

The Soil Health & Composting Workshop will be held on March 28th, 2026 | 9am -12pmin Sligo PA with the *Exact Location disclosed upon registration*  

Directed towards 18+ years old. A FREE soil test kit, backyard compost bin (see measurements to the left), and a book about composting will be given to the first 25 Clarion County residents that register AND attend.
