East Brady Area Development Corporation Announces 2025 Beautification Awards

The East Brady Area Development Corporation’s (EBADC) Beautification Contest wrapped up on July 29th when three impartial judges reviewed the nominations submitted by area residents. The judges were Lee Ann Ishman, President of the Clarion County Garden Club, Loren Grayson, Marketing & Branding Manager of Discover Clarion under CCEDC (Clarion County Economic Development Corporation) and Joe Brooker, Community Development Coordinator, (CCEDC). Judges rated nominees on curb appeal, maintenance, planning and creativity. The winners received a “Beautification Awardee” yard sign with their name on it, an East Brady mug, a certificate and a lifetime membership to EBADC.

The winners in the residential category are Joanne and Dana LePere. Honorable Mentions go to Sheila Markel, Peggy Wimer, James Zellefrow and Marcia and Rich Sweeney.

The winner sin the Business/Church/Public Property category were Diana and Bruce Hufnagle. Honorable Mentions go to Allegheny Hills Retirement Residence and The East Brady First Presbyterian Church.

All are welcome to attend the next monthly meeting of EBADC held at the Arnold Beabout Community Center, room 14, in East Brady
