With 100-miles of off-road bicycling available right out of East Brady and the increased usage of e-bikes, a bicycle safety and maintenance class is timely. Learn everything you need to know to ride safely on the roads and on the trails! Come out for an informative evening where basic repair methods are demonstrated by local experienced riders and The Southern Clarion County Police present safety tips for all bicycle usage and outlines for the permitted use of electronic bicycles on the streets and on the trails. A representative from Armstrong Trails will be on-site to talk about recent trail improvements.

The event will be held Friday, July 31, 2026 from 6:30 PM- 8:00 PM at the

East Brady Riverfront Park. Free parking is available at the trail parking lot at 300 Verner Street, and handicapped parking is available at the Riverfront Park. The Riverfront Park is a very short walk directly behind the parking lot. In case of heavy rain, the presentation will take place at River Rider Rentals Suite 10, Arnold Beabout Community Center, 502 Ferry Street, East Brady.

There will be refreshments and door prizes so bring your family and friends and your chairs! Free yellow Cycle Safely water bottles will be distributed to the first 20 attendees! Pre-registration is not required.

This event is sponsored by the East Brady Area Development Corporation (EBADC).

This project is supported by a Community Engagement Mini-Grant from PA Wilds Center for Entrepreneurship, made possible through the support of the Trust for Civic Life, a sponsored project of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors.
